Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: As an Accounts Receivable (Field Support) Supervisor, your role is pivotal in ensuring a top-notch customer experience for our internal stores and external carriers. Your adept organizational skills will guide the team in managing their workload, delivering exceptional customer service while meeting key performance index measurements. Your swift and effective resolution of escalated customer concerns will significantly enhance customer satisfaction from the initial point of contact to the final resolution. Moreover, your leadership skills will inspire and assist associates through feedback and communication, fostering a culture of positivity and efficiency. Your leadership in collaborating with Operations, Business Development, Carriers and Tradet to effectively manage the accounts receivables for the organization while identifying process improvements to streamline department efforts will enhance customer satisfaction as well as reduce collections timing for the organization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Supervise and develop assigned Accounts Receivable team to achieve individual, team, and organizational goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Accounts Receivable staff, including training and coaching.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable team, including answering tickets, phone calls, messages, etc.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable colleagues in developing and applying tools, workflows, and policies.
• Collaborate with support resources to resolve customer issues and partner with others to resolve escalated issues timely and accurately.
• Cultivate a positive work environment within the Accounts Receivable team, emphasizing teamwork, customer service open communication, and a commitment to excellence.
• Delegate work assignments and provide continuous direction daily. Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports.
Corporate
• Compile department performance reporting on Key Performance Indicators.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills while showing exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Assist with and lead special projects and assigned tasks.
• Interview, select and train highly skilled applicants to become high performing associates on the Accounts Receivable team.
• Build and support a culture that recognizes and celebrates high achievement.
• Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
• Develops positive working relations with stores and carriers.
• Coach employees on work performance, setting expectations, and job performance by regularly conducting coaching sessions.
• Prepare progressive corrective action documentation and escalate corrective action plans as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and financial reporting standards.
• Perform month-end close responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of Customer Service Experience
• 2+ years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
• General Accounting concepts and knowledge required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• An Aptitude for problem-solving and solution driven.
• Able to maintain high-volume workload efficiently and timely.
• Able to execute several tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent data entry, typing, and computer navigation skills, including Excel.
• Ability to demonstrate discretion and independent judgment when making decisions.
• An energetic, mature, positive person who thrives working independently as well as part of a large team.
