Auto Body Technician

Crash Champions, LLC has a full-time opening for an Auto Body Technician in Gulf Shores, AL 36542.

JOB DUTIES: Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process. Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status. Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind. Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders. Participate in all required safety meetings. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools. Provides technical guidance to apprentices on unusual problems or repair procedures when needed (nonsupervisory).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience as Auto Body Repairer or Auto Body Technician Experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 9 months experience in welding. 
• 12 months experience in frame straightening.
• 9 months experience in panel replacement.
• 12 months experience in refinishing.
• 9 months experience in vehicle measurement.
• Must be able to clear OFAC check and pass MVR check as pre-employment screening process based on company's standards.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Must have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license in any state in the U.S. or possess a valid driver's license for any state in the U.S. Position is non-exempt and hourly - overtime is paid in accordance with FLSA for hours worked over 40 in a workweek).
